Story :
Born
in the upper middle class society, Viki had no mother at the same time
his father had no time for him. The cold loneliness of Viki’s world left
him weak and poisoned from within. Negligent of love and care enforced
Viki to find acceptance in other places. One such place was just a road
away from his plush apartment- THE GANGSTER‐LAND.
Viki discovers
love and acceptance, where bullets don’t warn in precedence of firing.
Interpersonal relationships are complex, situations are twisted.
Ambitions break free, as Viki sets his eyes on the top‐spot in
gangster‐land. He backs himself to de‐throne the existing king. Where
people use might, Viki uses his mind and a game of dice commences. Each
throw unfolds deception, double‐cross, uncertainty, mystery and violent
impact. It all comes down to one final throw of dice and Viki must roll a
six to experience victory. Provided a choice between ambition and
revenge, only a deadly mind would pick both. Viki picks both. Big
dreams, big cost. Actions have consequences. A gun shot doesn’t make any
distinction in favor, it makes the same sound for every ear-
‘DISHKIYAOON’.
Analysis :
The
biggest push behind this movie is undoubtedly Sunny Deol, who plays a
Hariyanvi character. On the contrary until the end it remains not
distinguishing clearly whether he is playing a villain otherwise he is a
victim of time. On the other hand, Aditya Pancholi looks stereotype in
the role a police officer. Harman, who is making a comeback in Bollywood
with this movie, has tried his best to look convincing. Yet he lacks
confidence while enacting some serious scenes. As always, Shilpa Shetty
looks gorgeous in her item number. Accompanying her moves and sex
appeal, she manages to do a good job. Established in the backdrop of
underworld, ‘Dishkiyaoon’ can be a good watch for action movie lovers.
Performance :
Sunny
Deol, despite being the biggest USP of this film, kept us in a
confusing state to call him a villain otherwise someone who is a victim
of time. On the other hand, Aditya Pancholi looks stereotype in the role
a police officer. While Harman, who is making a comeback in Bollywood
with this movie, has put forward an earnest attempt to give his best to
appearing worthy of belief. Yet he was having deficiency in confidence
while enacting some serious scenes. Needless to say that Shilpa Shetty
looked gorgeous in her item number. Accompanying her moves and sex
appeal, she manages to do a good job.
